P>strong>Specialty/strong>: RN-Labor and Delivery -Travel/p>
p>strong>Job Description/strong>/p>
ul>
li>Responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during the four stages of delivery: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal.
Li>Sits with and monitors patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor
li>Monitors contractions and helps patient with breathing techniques
li>Monitoring the fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs.
Li>Cares for patients on Pitocin, MgSO4 & continuous lumbar epidural
li>Checks patient s cervix periodically to monitor progression/lack of dilation

p>strong>Qualifications and Job Info/strong>/p>
ul>
li>1-2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
li>Current ACLS and BLS required
li>NRP required
li>Recent fetal monitoring
li>Must have Active State Nursing license
/ul>
